The Culture Kitaab is always on the lookout for young talent that values culture, and seeks to unearth it. We encourage young people, particularly students, to apply for working with us. All positions are part-time and voluntary in nature.

Write for Us

If you like the articles we publish, and generally enjoy writing, the writing team is the place to be. Members on the team publish a minimum of two articles per month. Simply mail us a writing sample  and we'll get back to you soon. 

Design for Us

If you enjoy graphics and get our aesthetics, you could fit in our design team. To do so, send us your pre-existing design work, or make a sample post that you think would work for our posts. 

Special Features

TCK's special features are full-length articles (over 1000 words) encompassing any facet of culture. If you have written a piece and want to get it published with us, mail it to us. We'll revert to you as soon as we can.

   The Gupta kings ascended the throne to India in the 4th Century CE. The Vedic Age, the period between 1500 BC and 600 BC, is often called the “Heroic Age” of the ancient Indian civilization. During this period, Vedas , the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism, were composed in the northern Indian subcontinent. Both vocal and instrumental music was also held in high esteem in society.
